LBHS COSCINO, NORTH AND SHUTTTS WITH WINS AGAINST DANA HILLS
The Laguna Beach High School Surf Team battled hard yesterday against a tough Dana Hills Team. While we didn’t ever come close points wise, some of our surfers put in impressive winning performances. Kayla Coscino kept up her winning ways in Girls shortboard as did Noah North and Jeremy Shutts in Boys Shortboard all taking 1sts in their respective heats.
It was a pretty morning at Salt Creek with 3-4ft fun, but tricky surf and our surfers were just coming off their huge home win. Zach Levine helped get things started in the morning, taking a solid 2nd in Boys Shortboard. Meanwhile there were also good performances by Jake Levine getting a 3rd and Trey Lockhart and Dante Madrigal with 4ths.
Girls Longboard once again saw Lola Fisher and Megan Mathews working hard to finish with a 3rd and 4th.
Jameson Roller has been looking very promising in Longboard, and finished strong with a 3rd while Ryan Meisberger also looked good and finished in 4th.
Boys Bodyboard saw our guys go hard with Cole Fink finishing in 4th.
